Forwarding Contract & Terms
Our framework for reliable global logistics. Clear terms, secure transit, and professional warehouse handling for every shipment.
1. Agreement Overview
Welcome to ALLIED ALLIANCE FORWARDING, LLC. By engaging our services, whether it's for simple forwarding or complex warehouse logistics, you're agreeing to the outlines below. Why does this matter? Because clarity is the backbone of successful transit. We've drafted these terms to ensure both parties understand their liabilities and obligations from the moment cargo leaves the dock until it arrives at its final destination.
It's important to remember that these terms govern all contracts between the "Forwarder" (ALLIED ALLIANCE FORWARDING, LLC) and the "Customer." Don't worry, we keep it straightforward.
Contracting Party
Any person or entity who delivers instructions to ALLIED ALLIANCE FORWARDING, LLC regarding the movement of goods is considered the primary customer. Are you shipping on behalf of someone else? You must disclose this at the start of the transit request.
Transit Liability
Our liability is limited to the value of the goods at the time of pickup or a standardized rate per kilo, whichever is lower, unless extra coverage is purchased. Our team handles every box with care, but international forwarding involves many moving parts.
2. Warehouse Distribution & Safety
Storage isn't just about floor space; it's about sequence and safety. At our Fort Wayne facility and partner hubs, we implement strict inventory controls. Why would we settle for less? Every item entering our warehouse is subject to our standard inspection protocols to verify condition upon arrival.
Wait. Did you know that hazardous materials require special pre-approval? We'll provide specific documentation requirements for any cargo that falls under classified transit safety regulations.
3. International Forwarding Protocols
Cross-border transport involves complex customs documentation. ALLIED ALLIANCE FORWARDING, LLC acts as your agent, but you're responsible for the accuracy of manifests. Incorrect weights or descriptions? That's on the client. Our experts are here to help, but we've seen enough transit delays to know that precision is paramount at our terminal gates.
